As a public library director for over 30 years, I have both read and experienced a huge amount of content about leadership, management, and related topics. Over time, I have rejected some concepts and theories while others have loomed ever larger in my mind and in my daily work. This particular book, "Leadership Stew" is a gem.It is written in a conversational, humorous style that allows potentially dry topics to come alive and become personally meaningful to the reader. The topics, pace, and organization of the text are extremely well crafted. The overall book is quite engaging and I found myself nodding my head in agreement on almost every page.As an adjunct professor of management, I well know that not everyone is cut out to be a leader or manager. However, everyone, the leader and the led, must have an intimate knowledge of what it is to work successfully in teams. This excellent book is a beautifully constructed tool that I will take advantage of in my work and in my teaching.I highly recommend it. We have purchased several copies for our Library's lending collection.Brian A. Reynolds, Library Director, San Luis Obispo County Library
