I am in an Ed.D. program for administrative leadership; this book is a core or essential text for this program. I am using it currently to write a research paper and will use it again for my qualifying exams. I find that this book has been well put together and leads to understanding of critical organizational structure. Further, this text was used by the professor that taught our organization theory class. I recommend this text to individuals who need primary source documents, a requirement in my program, to analyze organizations----- this book provides an solid basis for finding how the original authors delineated their theories and/or hypothesis on organizations. It is well worth the cost!
